Since 1971, Top Notch has been serving burgers and chicken fried steak to the weird of Austin. An Austin icon for many years and put onto pop culture map because of the movie 'Dazed & Confused'.  It is the place where Matthew McConaughey's Oscar worth performance as the creepy, a little too old to still be hanging out local, who muttered the unforgettable "alright, alright, alright" and put that Texas boy into the mainstream.  Great gift for anyone who hits up The Notch for a great burger when their in Austin.
